Sole developer and architect behind Hisab — a multi-currency, double-entry accounting and remittance SaaS — end to end.

  • Core accounting system — deep double-entry ledger (transactions, accounts, journal templates, balanced postings) with multi-currency FX rates, revaluation runs and auto-balanced FX trading P&L.
  • Financial reporting & compliance — full reporting suite (trial balance, balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, P&L) plus AML flagging, audit trails and tax handling.
  • Multi-tenant SaaS architecture — row-level security and least-privilege DB roles, with user memberships, role management and tokenised invite links.
  • Multi-platform client — cross-platform Flutter app (iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, Web), offline-first via Drift/SQLite, with real-time sync and conflict handling.
  • Backend & DevOps — Dart/Serverpod API (~30 endpoints) deployed on Fly.io with Docker, Cloudflare and GitHub Actions CI/CD.

Social commerce and marketplace app — e-commerce, live social content, real-time chat and an AI-assisted job-exchange module.

  • Architecture & scale — production-scale app (~950 Dart files, ~200K LOC) spanning a social feed, marketplace, real-time chat and a P2P job-exchange module ("Hand2Hand"), shipped to iOS and Android.
  • Real-time chat — WebSockets and Firebase (Firestore, Realtime DB, FCM) for live messaging, delivery/read receipts and push notifications.
  • AI job matching — in-app AI assistant for job-offer search and matching, with conversational search and persistent chat history.
  • Native plugins & media — two in-house Flutter plugins (licensed video-editing SDK, real-time face-filter engine), plus speech-to-text and video trimming for user content.
  • E-commerce & social — multi-vendor storefronts, cart/checkout, wallet and instalment payments, QR-verified live draws, plus a full social layer (posts, stories, short-video "Stars", challenges).

Multi-currency financial and accounting management system — built and maintained solo over 700+ commits across ~20 months.

  • Platform — multi-currency accounting platform (Laravel 11, Filament 5, Inertia + React) managing clients, suppliers, banks, fund boxes and system accounts with date-based exchange-rate conversion.
  • Transaction engine — transfers, internal transfers, income/expense, payments, currency exchange and opening balances, with soft-delete reversal handling and an immutable audit log.
  • Access control — role-based permissions (Spatie) with per-resource, per-action authorisation for finance staff, cashiers and admins.
  • Offline-first capture — pending transactions cache locally during connectivity loss and auto-sync via REST API on reconnect.
  • Reporting & API — bearer-token REST API with a consistent JSON contract, plus PDF (Browsershot/DomPDF/mPDF) and Excel export pipelines for reports, balance sheets and vouchers.
